About Mrs. Montgomery

Hello! This is my first year at South Campus and I am thrilled to be here! I taught most recently for 5 years at North Campus, and 3 years at Bonnette JH before that. I love to sing and love even more being part of my students’ musical journey. I consider it a privilege to help others find their voice. 

 

I received my Bachelor’s of Music Education in 2016 from Baylor University (Sic ‘Em!) and my Masters of Music Education in 2022 from the University of North Texas. 

 

My greatest gift is my family; my husband Austin (Choir Director at DPJH, formerly at FJH) and our 3 children: Jolie (19), Simon (4), and Elliott (2). Jolie is a sophomore at Baylor (Sic ‘em again!) studying to be a music teacher, and the boys are rowdy and active, holdin’ it down in preschool! We have a big ole’ fluffy poodle named Windsor (7), and he is a better dog than we deserve.

 

I cannot wait to continue teaching the students I’ve had at North in the past, and am so excited to meet new students as well! Welcome to South Campus!
