Welcome

Hello, my name is Cheyenne Sikes and I am the Assistant Director for the Deer Escorts and dance teacher at South Campus. I am originally from Tyler, Texas where I attended Tyler Legacy High School.

 I was a part of the Southern Belles Drill Team for three years where I served as an Officer and Elite Member.

Following High School, I attended Tyler Junior College where I became a member of the Internationally Famous Apache Belles. During this time, I served as a two-year elite member and Dance Captain for the 69th line. As well as receiving my Associate's Degree in Fine Arts in 2017.

After TJC I attended Stephen F. Austin State University where I became a member of the SFA Dance Team and Modern Repertory Company. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Dance Education in May 2020, while being top 15 in my class. I have also spent time working with the Texas Dance Educator’s Association, and the ACDA Collegiate Dance Conference.

I am so excited and grateful to be a part of DPISD! Go Deer!
