Sheila Schatzke, Ph.D.
In 2007, I joined Deer Park ISD and served as a Campus Technology Integration Specialist (CTIS) at Deer Park Elementary. I later transitioned to Deepwater Jr. High, where I supported staff and students for twelve years. Since 2018, I’ve proudly served as the CTIS at South Campus High School, collaborating with teachers across departments to integrate emerging technologies that enhance instruction and student engagement.
Beyond K–12 education, I am an adjunct professor at the University of Houston–Clear Lake, where I’ve worked since 2009. I teach graduate and doctoral students in the School of Education, preparing future educators to thoughtfully implement technology in their own classrooms.
Instructional technology is constantly evolving—and so am I. I embrace change and view it as essential to growth. My goal is to continue supporting teachers, students, and administrators by introducing impactful, relevant tools that enrich curriculum and learning outcomes. Whether I’m designing curriculum, coaching educators, leading professional development, or teaching in K–12 and higher ed, I bring practical experience, a deep love for learning, and a commitment to meaningful change in education.
