Reminder – ALL Senior Information will be available throughout the year in the Senior Deer Time Course in Canvas.

Graduation Announcements & Cap and Gown – 

• Herff Jones On-Campus Dates:

The Herff Jones Graduation Assembly for Seniors will take place in the PAC during Deer Time on August 27, 2025. After the assembly, Herff Jones will be on campus in front of the PAC lobby during all lunches.
They will return on the last Wednesday of each month from September to March:
Time: 11:15a.m. –  1:30p.m.
Dates: Aug 27(Assembly) – Sept 24– Oct 29– Nov 19 –  Skip Dec - Jan 28 – Feb 25 – Mar 25

• Orders: Place orders online at  mygradaccount.com. Orders take 1–2 months to arrive and will be delivered to the school. To participate in the graduation ceremony, you must have a cap, maroon & gold cuffed gown, and tassel.
• Pick-Up: Cap & gown orders will arrive in November and can be picked up starting Nov 19 at school. After that, they will be available during Herff Jones’ monthly campus visits. Graduation announcements will be mailed home in the spring. Questions? Contact Herff Jones at 281-367-4723.
• Senior Yearbook Pictures – Higgins Photography sets Senior yearbook picture sessions each month at their studio during the beginning of the school year. There is a $10 sitting fee for the yearbook picture only and a $20 sitting fee for all poses offered.  Please go to www.higginsphotography.com to set up an appointment as soon as possible or call at 281-998-9905. Due to end of year deadlines, the sessions will end in February. If you schedule on your own after that, an additional sitting fee may be charged. Address: 1301 Genoa Red Bluff, Pasadena, Tx 77504
• Homecoming Parade – Sunday, September 28, 2025
• Homecoming Game – October 3, 2025. Homecoming Court nominations and voting start at the beginning of September.
• Homecoming Dance – Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Sylvan Beach Pavilion
• Polar Express Day – December 12, 2025 All Seniors must be exempt from exams to attend this event.
• Majestic Court – Thursday, February 12, 2026. This is a senior fundraiser.
• PROM FEES – All fees, district wide, must be paid in full for ALL student attending prom by Friday, March 27, 2026.
• Prom Ticket Sales – Tuesday thru Thursday, April 7 – 9, 2026 - during all lunches in the PAC lobby.

The cost is $90 per person. All fees district-wide must be paid in order to purchase a prom ticket. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Only seniors may purchase prom tickets and a school ID is required for the senior & their date.

Non-Deer Park dates will need to be approved. The approval forms will be available in early February.

• Senior Prom Saturday, April 11, 2026 – 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at The Galveston Convention Center, 5600 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, Tx. Prom information is posted in the Senior Deer Time Canvas course.
  

• Class of 2026 Panoramic Picture – Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 10:15a.m., depending on weather. Pictures will be available to purchase during lunches the next 2 days. If you do not get a chance to purchase the panoramic picture at school, you can place your order online at www.goldbeckcompany.com; however, a shipping fee will be applied.
• Counselor Visits – Please check with your counselor to make sure all graduation requirements needed to participate in the graduation ceremony have been met.
• End of Year/Graduation Assembly – Mandatory for ALL Seniors at 9:00a.m. in the PAC on April 23, 2026.
• Fees & Fines - Per the Student Handbook, page 61, students are to satisfy ALL FINANCIAL COMMITMENTS to the district in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. All fees and fines must be cleared by Friday, May 1, 2026.
• Final Transcript – On Monday, May 4, 2026, a form must be filled out in Canvas that lists the college(s) that you want your final transcript sent to.
• Senior Sunset –    Sunday, May 17, 2026
• Graduation Practice – Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 7:30 a.m. in Cotton Watkins Gym at South Campus.

You must be in dress code. You do not have to bring cap & gown to practice. This practice is mandatory, if you plan to participate in the graduation ceremony.

• Graduation Ceremony – Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 7:30p.m. at Abshier Stadium. Senior procession starts at

7:00p.m. You must be in dress code. Graduates must report to Cotton Watkins gym at 6:15 p.m.

• Diploma Pick-up – Diploma pick up will be Monday, June 15, 2026 in the Registrars’ office.
