Head Choir Director

Hello!  My name is Ms. Ladd and this is my 29th year of teaching. ALL here in Deer Park ISD and 28of those being here at South Campus.  I am a proud Deer Park Alum class of 1989, have had two kids graduate from Deer Park (class of 2019 and 2021) , my mom graduated from Deer Park Class of 1961 AND the coolest is that my GRANNY graduated in the FIRST every graduating class of 1940!!! I have LOTS of Deer Park Pride!

While attending Deer Park HS, I was a member of the Lady Deer Basketball Team, Student Council, Choir and Swing Choir. I continued my music endeavors at Sam Houston State University while playing intramural sports for a few years and graduated in 1995 with my BME in Music Education.

Teaching is my passion and I greatly enjoy being with my students building relationships while creating music together.  I lead Chorale (4th period) and Swing Choir (3rd period) but also co-teach with my teammates in other choir classes.

I have three children, Brendon (22), Braden (20) and Brynlee (16). We love going to the beach and singing or attending sporting events together.
